Hotel Fun – Linsen Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Fun – Linsen, you immediately get the sense that this three-star property knows exactly what it’s doing. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that feels fresh without trying too hard — honestly, it’s the kind of place where you can tell they’ve put thought into the details without breaking the bank. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, and I noticed right away how many guests seemed to be returning visitors, which always tells you something about a place.
Prime Zhongshan District Location
Here’s the thing about Linsen North Road — you’re basically in one of Taipei’s most happening neighborhoods without the chaos of the main tourist strips. The hotel sits perfectly positioned where you can walk to the night markets (Ningxia is just a short stroll), but you’re also close enough to the business district that getting around feels effortless. I mean, couples absolutely love this area, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’ve got that perfect mix of local flavor and urban convenience, plus the MRT connections are solid.
The Rooms
The rooms are compact but smartly designed — this is Taiwan, after all, where space efficiency is an art form. What impressed me most was how they’ve managed to fit everything you actually need without making it feel cramped. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in Taipei’s humidity), and there’s enough storage space for a week’s worth of clothes. The bathrooms are clean and modern, though don’t expect a soaking tub — it’s all about functionality here, and honestly, that works perfectly fine.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast setup is actually pretty impressive for a three-star hotel. They’ve got this buffet spread that covers all the bases — continental options, American classics, and vegetarian choices that don’t feel like an afterthought. I particularly appreciated that they include some local Taiwanese breakfast items alongside the international fare. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s solid, filling, and gets you ready for a day of exploring without having to hunt down coffee and food first thing in the morning.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Hotel Fun – Linsen apart is this combination of location, value, and reliability that keeps people coming back. The repeat guest rate here is notably higher than most places, and after staying here, I understand why — it’s that sweet spot where everything just works without any unpleasant surprises. You’re paying three-star prices but getting an experience that feels more polished than you’d expect. The neighborhood gives you authentic Taipei vibes while keeping you connected to everything you want to see, and the hotel itself delivers consistent comfort without any pretense. It’s the kind of place where you can focus on enjoying the city instead of worrying about your accommodation.
To book a hotel in Taipei during tech expos, visitors plan ahead to balance conference halls with hot spring escapes.

Room was big enough for both of us and our luggage, bathroom amenities were very clean and enjoyable. Location was perfect, right next to a relatively central metro station and many useful stores. Hotel services were above expectations with free laundry service and massage chairs.
I would recommend here to my friends visiting Taiwan – Saki from Japan (8/10)
The breakfast was amazing, they served not only continental but also traditional Taiwanese dishes. Room was clean (a little bit small thought) and other facility equipment like laundry machine, shower were very useful.
The all staffs I had words with were very kind. The guy who gave us towels for second day behaved so nicely.
