There’s this incredible traditional market just a few blocks away where locals do their daily shopping — you’ll find the freshest fruit and some of the best street food in the city. The area around Bangka (the old name for Wanhua) has temples, traditional shops, and those narrow alleys where you stumble upon tiny family-run eateries that serve noodles that’ll ruin you for anywhere else. It’s the kind of location where you feel like you’re actually experiencing the city, not just visiting it.
