Here’s what I love about staying in Banqiao — you’re technically in New Taipei City, but you feel like you have the best of both worlds. The hotel sits on Xianmin Boulevard, which honestly makes getting around so much easier than I expected. You’re close enough to hop into central Taipei when you want that big city energy, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds. The neighborhood offers a perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility.

The Room Experience

My room was on the eighth floor, and I have to say — the space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. The bed was properly comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and they’d clearly put some thought into the lighting. You know how some hotels have those harsh overhead lights that make everything feel clinical? Not here. The bathroom was spotless, with decent water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me. Every detail contributes to a genuinely pleasant experience.

They’ve also got a small fitness center that’s nothing fancy but has the basics if you need to work off that night market food.

  I added the breakfast when I booked the room. Very good breakfast selection. I stayed the same hotel 7 years ago when I came to visit my family. And no question that this time I stayed the same. Because the location is very convenient to get to the metro station. Like less than 3 minutes walk. The day market & night market, train station and shopping mall all very close to the hotel location. If you like food, you can find it anywhere nearby the hotel. Also, the lobby has nice sitting area where your friends can visit or you just want to relax and have some beverage.

  excellent breakfast buffet On our last day we had an early flight the hotel arranged a taxi for us and because we could not make it to the breakfast buffet they packed 2 breakfast meals to go. we were complete surprised grateful and amazed.

  Convenient located next to MRT station the hotel offers a spacious room and bath room. All you need for your stay is present and I like the fact that you have a desk to do some work as well as 2 good seats to relax. Staff very friendly and helpful.

  Staff at reception & breakfast area were attentive, responsive, friendly and polite. Hotel location was convenient as located less than 2 mins walk from Fuzhong MRT station so getting to rest of Taipei wasn't a problem. Nanya night market just short walk from the hotel, there is a family mart and supermarket near to MRT station too. The hotel surrounding is quiet so we didn't have any problem with night noises. TV channel covered quite a variety, bed is comfortable, bathroom hot/cold water control was good too. Housekeeping was on alternate day during our stay which we wouldn't mind as you can always ask for housekeeping if you need. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in the hotel.
