Beauty Hotels Taipei – Hotel Bchic Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Beauty Hotels Taipei – Hotel Bchic, you immediately get that this isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s a solid three-star property that knows exactly what it does well — and honestly, that’s refreshing in Taipei where so many places oversell themselves. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and the staff actually seems genuinely happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.
The Zhongshan District Advantage
Here’s what I really love about the location on Xinsheng North Road — you’re in Zhongshan District, which means you get that perfect sweet spot between being close to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. The Songshan Airport is stupidly close (like, 15 minutes by taxi), and you can walk to some of Taipei’s best night markets without dealing with the Ximending crowds. I mean, couples consistently rate this area 8.3 out of 10, and after staying here, I totally get why. You’ve got the Taipei Fine Arts Museum nearby, plus all those little local eateries that locals actually frequent.
The Room Experience
The room itself is what I’d call “efficiently designed” — not huge, but everything has its place and actually works. The bed is surprisingly comfortable for a mid-range hotel, and the bathroom is modern enough that you don’t feel like you’re roughing it. What really caught my attention was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy road. The air conditioning works properly (which, trust me, matters in Taipei summers), and there’s decent WiFi throughout.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
You know what’s interesting? This place has way more repeat guests than most other hotels in the area, and after a few days here, I started understanding why. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable — the kind of place where the front desk remembers your name and the housekeeping is consistently good. The restaurant downstairs serves decent local breakfast options, nothing fancy but fresh and filling. Plus, there’s actually useful parking available, which anyone who’s tried to drive in central Taipei will appreciate.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Beauty Hotels Taipei – Hotel Bchic isn’t going to blow your mind with over-the-top amenities or Instagram-worthy spaces. What it does is give you a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Taipei without breaking the bank or dealing with unnecessary complications. The 8.1 rating makes sense — it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises, which is honestly more valuable than hotels that promise the moon and deliver cheese. If you want to be near the action but still get a good night’s sleep, and you appreciate places where the staff actually cares about doing their job well, this works really well.
Hotel in Taipei reservations surge before New Year’s countdowns, so revelers secure suites with Taipei 101 views.

This is the best money/value we got in Taiwan. I think it’s actually underrated here. Pretty big rooms, comfortable mattresses, nice bathroom. Was very clean. The best thing about it is isolation, although it’s located close to a busy road, you barely hear anything if the window is closed. And it doesn’t hear up quickly if you turn off the air conditioner, so if you don’t like to have it on at night, you can just cool off the room before you go to sleep and then it won’t get too warm.

Excellent staff, comfy bed, decent room size
Enjoyable and the price is really worth it. – Siew from Singapore (9/10)
We could easily take a bus to taipei 101, shilin night market. walking distance fo 10mins to macdonald and there are buses to other places. Zhong Shan train station is nearby.
The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. They are prompt to my requests. My family was so happy that I chose this hotel. – Maria from Philippines (9/10)
Family room size, spacious bathrooms w/ bidet & quiet area. It’s so affordable compared to hotels around Xiemen. Taxi is just 2-3 mins. away, not expensive, just a little higher than taking the train. We’re 9 in the family & 2 cabs made it worth it.
Good – Philippe from Switzerland (8/10)
I like to walk when discovering cities. As a consequence I am less frustrated by the fact that the closest subway station is 700 meters away. From the hotel, if you are OK to walk up to 3KM, you can access most of the interesting places (I never walked for more than 10-15 minutes to reach the restaurants I wanted to try, but for one next to the Miramar Ferris Wheel). Some sights are a lot closer of course, but some will take you one hour to get there (Taipei 101 for instance).
The room was good. Yes, thin walls (as stated by other people), but then why do some people have a need to scream (or speak very loud) in their bedroom? I was on the 7th floor. I never heard the cars from my bedroom, even though I was 25 meters away from the Linsen Overpass.John from Australia (8/10)
Pleasant – Adrian from New Zealand (7/10)
Room was clean and value for money. All staff were great from checkin to housekeeping.
