The location is honestly fantastic, especially if you want to be in the heart of Taipei. You’re right in Daan District, which means you can walk to some of the city’s best night markets and shopping areas. I mean, couples rate this spot 9.2 out of 10, and I totally get why — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll through the tree-lined streets of Daan after dinner. The MRT is super close too, so getting around the city is a breeze. What I really appreciated was how quiet it felt despite being on such a busy road.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — very typical of Taipei hotels, but done well. The bed was comfortable, and I actually slept better than I expected given that we’re talking about a mid-range place. The bathroom was spotless, which honestly matters more to me than fancy amenities. There’s good air conditioning (crucial in Taipei summers), and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. The views aren’t spectacular, but you get nice glimpses of the city, especially if you’re on a higher floor.

The breakfast buffet was where this hotel really won me over. They serve Asian, American, and buffet-style options, and the quality was surprisingly good for a three-star property. I loved that they had proper Taiwanese breakfast items alongside the usual Western stuff — you can get your congee and pickled vegetables, or stick with toast and eggs if that’s more your thing. The restaurant area gets busy around 8 AM, so I’d suggest going a bit earlier if you don’t like crowds.
