The Room Experience

My room was spacious by Taipei standards — and I mean actually spacious, not just “well-designed small space” spacious. The beds are properly comfortable, and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works. What I appreciated most was the attention to details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block out the city lights. The furnishings are modern and thoughtfully arranged, making the space feel both luxurious and livable.

The breakfast buffet is genuinely impressive — they’ve got both Western options and proper Taiwanese dishes, so you’re not stuck with sad hotel scrambled eggs. I actually found myself looking forward to breakfast, which doesn’t happen often. The restaurant serves solid international cuisine, though honestly, with Taipei’s incredible food scene right outside, you might want to explore the neighborhood instead. The spa facilities are well-maintained and offer a nice retreat after walking around the city all day. There’s also a well-equipped fitness center for those who want to stay active during their stay.
