Sleep Quality That Actually Matters

Let me tell you about the beds — they’re genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. After spending days walking around Taipei’s night markets and temples, sinking into one of these beds actually feels restorative. The room itself isn’t huge (this is Taipei, after all), but everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The repeat guest rate here is higher than most places, and honestly, I think it’s because people remember sleeping well more than they remember fancy amenities they never used.

The breakfast setup surprised me — they’ve got this buffet that covers American basics alongside proper Asian options and vegetarian choices. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but rather giving you actual variety that makes sense. I found myself going back for the congee more often than the toast, which probably says something about how well they handle the local dishes. The restaurant area gets decent morning light, so it doesn’t feel like you’re eating in a basement.

  Great location, very attentive staff, bright rooms, nicely furnished and good amount of space (Deluxe Suite, which also has sliding door to close off bedroom). Breakfast offering, gym, and laundry room much appreciated.

  The best part is that we felt like a home away from home, not a stuffy hotel. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite. As others have stated, the staff is wonderful, the food was healthy and delicious, the room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. TV was disappointing as we could not use our streaming services but we're not visiting Taipei to watch TV so we got over it. The room looked nicer in pictures and the couch was not very comfortable. The refrigerator was tiny but we made use of the kitchenette. The dehumidifier was a necessity and I had to empty it 2x per day. The location was perfect for us with a short walk to 7/11, MRT, and Daan Park. We only heard the Construction noise once on our last day. The doors make a lot of noise so if you have neighbors with unruly children you will hear doors slamming from time to time. Overall it was a great stay and despite our small complaints, we would certainly return for another visit.

  I found the bed in this room was particularly comfortable. The room was very clean and the location was excellent – Daan Park station exit 1 was about a 3 minute walk and it is on the Tamsui-Zinyi Train line which seemed to be one of the main train lines (only a few quick stops from Taipei Main Station). The Daan Park area is also a good spot for visitors to stay in Taipei. It didn't strike me as touristy but it is centrally located. I was not personally bothered by the construction noise next door – I think if you plan to wake up by 8AM to go sightseeing you will be fine (maybe even longer). I also thought the buffet breakfast was very nice – every option they had was tasty.

  The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the MRT and Da'an Park. The room is fully equipped and we greatly appreciated having a dehumidifier in the room by default. The pillows were really comfortable.

  The location was very convenient, in a quiet street but close to Da'an park, 711 and the MRT station. Bed was really comfortable! Nice to have a mini-kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge for longer stays. Staff were really friendly, Overall was good value for the money.

  Excellent location near Daan Park and the metro station. Many good restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel. The rooms are quite large which is helpful if you have a lot of luggage. The kitchenette in the room is really convenient if you buy some fruit or other small items from the local shops. We also made use of the laundry in the basement since we stayed for more than a week. Staff were quite helpful whenever we had questions. Breakfast has just enough choices without being a huge buffet. Great value for money and I would definitely stay there again.
