The Room Experience

My room was smaller than what you’d expect back home, but that’s pretty standard for Taipei — and they’ve actually used the space quite cleverly. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep after long days of walking around the city, and the air conditioning worked perfectly (crucial during Taiwan’s humid summers). The bathroom is compact but functional, with decent water pressure that I wasn’t really expecting. What I liked most was how clean everything felt — you can tell they take maintenance seriously here, even if the furnishings aren’t exactly cutting-edge.

There’s no fancy restaurant on-site, but honestly, you don’t want to eat hotel food when you’re surrounded by some of the best street food in Asia. The front desk can point you toward breakfast spots within a two-minute walk, and I found this little place that serves incredible dan bing that became my daily ritual. The WiFi works well throughout the building, which matters when you’re trying to navigate a new city or stay in touch with people back home. Parking isn’t really an option here, but you won’t need a car anyway — Taipei’s public transportation will get you everywhere you want to go.

  The location, it's just a few steps away from Raohe Night Market, PX Mart, convenience stores, and just beside the bank which is very convenient for tourists. The bathroom is nice. Our room is huge with chairs and vanity cabinet and a mini ref inside. Also easy access to public transport such as train stations and bus stops. The staff are really helpful.
