The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — they’ve clearly figured out how to make smaller spaces work without feeling cramped. Everything you need is there: good air conditioning (crucial in Taipei’s humidity), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and a bathroom that’s clean and functional. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but the bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains actually blocked out the city lights, which helped with sleep. The soundproofing was better than I expected too, considering you’re in such a central location.
