What I love is that you can easily hop on the MRT from Beitou Station and be in central Taipei in about 40 minutes, but the neighborhood itself feels like a completely different world. It’s this perfect blend of accessibility and escape.

The rooms strike that sweet spot between traditional Japanese-influenced design and modern amenities. Don’t expect flashy or over-the-top — this is more about thoughtful comfort and attention to detail. Many rooms have private hot spring baths, which honestly makes all the difference when you want that authentic experience without leaving your space. The free private parking is actually a huge plus if you’re driving, since parking can be tricky in this area. Plus, you won’t have to worry about finding a spot after a day of exploring Yangmingshan National Park nearby.

  1. Good location – within 3 minutes walking distance from MRT Xinbeitou Station Exit 1. There are convenient stores, fast food restaurants (McD, KFC) and business area near the resort.
  2. I got free room upgrade! Sauna and private hot bath tub are provided in my room. Bathroom and toilet are separated in the room. Room is huge enough and Japanese style toilet bowl.
  3. Facilities are in good condition. I like the shampoo and body wash provided. Welcome cookies are provided in room.
  4. Room is clean.
  5. There are 3 hot spring pools in the public bath area – Cold tub (18C – 19C), Jacuzzi bath (38C – 39C) and hot tub (42C – 43C). Bath areas and storage are provided in the public bath area. After the taking the onsen, you can enjoy tea time and drinks provided by the resort.
  6. Good breakfast and it was nice.
  7. The hotel is near to few attractions – Public Library, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, etc (However, Thermal Valley is a little bit far from the hotel)
  8. Overall good! Highly recommend you to spend most of your time here to enjoy to the fullest possible.

  The location was excellent. The room was spacious and asethetically pleasing. The hot spring tub inside the room was very convenient. The welcome cookies was a nice touch!
  
  In the hot spring area, there were multiple cubicles and open areas for washing and cleaning (with body and hair wash and conditioner provided). There was a sauna room and a steaming room in addition to the hot spring baths.
  
  The beds were comfortable and the staff members were friendly.
  
  The breakfast was quite nice. When they learned that I preferred a vegetarian diet, they went the extra mile to cater for my diet and made me a vegetarian pasta! That was a very nice and heart-warming gesture!

Very reasonable price compares to nearby hot spring hotels. Great public hot spring bath with both hot and cold spring.
